Meeting Ezoic Requirements
Ensure your site meets Ezoic's basic guidelines. Your site should feature unique and original content, and must have organic traffic. Sites banned by Google AdSense can't apply. If your site has fewer than 10,000 visits per month, you need to sign up for the Ezoic Access Now course. This course will teach you about the platform, cover essential terms, and show you how to set up your site for monetization.
Signing Up for Ezoic
Begin by going to the Ezoic registration page and entering your email address. Next, provide the URL of your website; Ezoic will perform a quick scan to ensure your site is live.
Once your site is validated, you'll need to select the specific Ezoic service that aligns with your goals:
- Ad Revenue
- Site Speed
- Analytics
These options allow you to customize your Ezoic experience based on your primary objectives.
After choosing the desired service, complete the account setup process. This includes agreeing to the terms of service and filling in any additional required information. Once your account is created and your site is integrated, you can begin using Ezoic's platform to optimize ad placements, increase site speed, and gain valuable insights into your site's performance.
Connecting Your Site with Ezoic
If you choose Cloudflare integration, Ezoic will automatically detect if you already use Cloudflare. If you don't have a Cloudflare account yet, you can easily create one. Then, simply add your site to Cloudflare and connect it to Ezoic.
For those opting for Name Server Integration, log in to your Ezoic account and navigate to the "Cloud Integration" section. Here, you'll find the DNS information that Ezoic requires. You'll need to go to your domain registrar's site and update your existing name servers with the ones provided by Ezoic.
Alternatively, if your site is running on WordPress, the WordPress Plugin method is both convenient and efficient. From the Ezoic dashboard, choose the "Cloud Integration" option and follow the instructions to download and install the Ezoic WordPress plugin. Once installed, proceed with the configuration as per the on-screen prompts.
Adding Placeholders and Optimizing Ads
To ensure you get the most out of Ezoic's platform, add ad placeholders and optimize your ads. This allows Ezoic's AI to dynamically test and place ads in the most effective spots.
Use Ezoic's Chrome Extension to add placeholders. Download and install the extension, then go to your website. Hover over different sections of your page and click to insert a placeholder. These markers tell Ezoic's system where it can place ads.
For more precise optimization, link your Google AdSense account with Ezoic. This allows Ezoic to utilize AdSense's network to test and optimize ad placements quicker.
To link your Google AdSense account:
- Go to your Ezoic dashboard and navigate to 'Ezoic Ads' > 'Link Your AdSense Account'.
- Enter your AdSense email and click the 'Email Link.'
- Confirm the email link from Google.
After linking AdSense and establishing placeholders, turn on Ezoic and configure split testing.
- Access your Ezoic dashboard and navigate to the "Ezoic Ads" tab, then click on "Split Testing."
- Decide how much of your site's traffic you want to allocate to Ezoic's ads vs. your original setup. For optimal results, set all devices to 100%.
- Click "Save" to activate Ezoic's ad management and begin optimization.
By following these steps, you can effectively set up and optimize your site with Ezoic, allowing you to maximize your ad revenue potential while maintaining a positive user experience.
